Next to Phromthep Cape, approximately 18 kilometers from town is Nai Harn Beach, an extra-ordinary beach that has white powdery sand and crystal clear water. The beach borders on two charming landscaped lagoons surrounded by rubber trees and other tropical plants.

As the beach has not yet been fully developed to its full potential, it is less crowded, more peaceful, thus is ideal for people seeking solitude. Holiday makers are not recommended to swim during the monsoon season from May to October. Watch out for the red flag.

Despite having a rather limited selection of accommodations, they range from budget bungalows to the top-class Yacht Club. Check with the TAT Phuket Office for more up-to-date information and room rates.

This beach can be reached by songthaeos, which leaves from the intersection of Ranong Road and the fountain circle. The fare is 25 baht / person / trip. In addition, visitors can also charter tuk-tuks which costs a lot more at 150 baht to 200 baht / trip.

Nui Beach.

Nui Beach is one of the expensive beaches in Phuket. You have pay for a fee 250 Baht per adult person and 125 Baht for a child. For that you get a drink and a sun bed.

Nui beach is two small beaches divided by a large rock. Nui is a secluded beach far away from the crowds at Patong. There where no more than 10-20 people on the whole beach and that was just before and after peak season.

No one here try to sell you overpriced. No jet skies, no speedboats, no longtail boats to worry about when going for a swim.

The beach sand at Nui Beach is not so soft as you might expect to find in Phuket. But who cares when you are in paradise with your lover.

There are a few tables at the back of the beach where they serve food. Or ask to have the food delivered to your sunbed.

There are plenty of corals out in the bay along the hill on the right side when facing the sea that make for good snorkeling.

Nui Beach is a unique beach located in an undeveloped area, you will not find another beach in Phuket that resembles Nui Beach.
